Executive Travel got physical with thirty of their staff and clients at the annual Cathay Pacific Half Marathon in Auckland last Sunday. Ten staff and twenty clients either walked or ran the Half Marathon or 11km Fun-run, and finished with recovery packs and a sausage sizzle at the Executive Travel corporate tent.

“What a great way to spend an Auckland summer morning – our staff and clients got to spend time together and enjoy some good healthy exercise. It’s so powerful to share an interest with the people you’re in business with”, says Executive Travel Group’s General Manager, Wendy van Lieshout.

The event will now become an annual fixture on the Executive Travel calendar, and Executive Travel plans to at least double the number of participants next year.

“The feedback from customers and staff has been great. And as usual it’s the little things that impressed – including the lucky prizedraw for a fantastic Regency Duty Free basket, the Powerade, bananas and protein bars at the finish line, and a good old-fashioned kiwi BBQ to top it all off” says Ms van Lieshout.
