Executive Travel hosted 60 of their clients at their annual wine tasting functions held over two intimate evenings last month. Wine knowledge was put to the test, while customers and Executive Travel staff had a chance to network and enjoy each others company.
The focus of the evenings, held at two stunning city venues, was NZ wines. The “wine options” game created a great atmosphere with plenty of audience participation. Wines were poured blind and multi-choice questions asked, drawing out the creativity and competitive nature of those involved.
“The evenings were very relaxed. A great bunch of people in enjoyable surroundings, mixed with some great wines – it’s a recipe for success. We were able to give our customers another opportunity to get to know the Executive Travel Team, and demonstrate our ‘fun at work’ company vision” says Executive Travel Group’s General Manager, Wendy van Lieshout.
Winners on the night took away prizes including accommodation at an IHG property, The Quadrant and Heritage Hotels, as well as Avis Rental car prizes.
“The feedback from customers has been fantastic. It’s great to know our clients enjoy the company of the Executive Travel Team and that we’re putting our efforts into the right kind of functions that our customers really value and enjoy.” says Ms van Lieshout.
It was also a great opportunity to showcase Executive Events – Executive Travel’s Meetings, Conference & Incentives division which was able to illustrate how a function can be tailored to exceed expectations.
